After the analysis, <br /> the city will have a list of its problems, and be able to prioritize the projects. <br /> Councilmember Terrell made a motion to proceed with the testing and <br /> Councilmember Smart seconded and all voted for. <br /> Mr. Bob Farnum with Adjusters International updated the council on the <br /> process of the flood damage application and grants for the recent floods. Mr. <br /> Farnum presented a summary of the preliminary damage that will be submitted to <br /> the federal government. Mr. Farnum told the council that the original $1 million <br /> dollars has been revised down to $700,000.00 due to the removal of properties <br /> that fall under others' responsibility (such as the county). <br /> B) REVIEW PAID BILL REPORT <br /> The council was given a copy of the paid bills report for May, 2008. <br /> MAYOR COMMENTS <br /> The Mayor informed the Council that he had a request from Animal Control <br /> Assistant, Robert Austin to travel to Kansas City, Missouri for training from the <br /> National Animal Control Association. Councilmember Shetron made a motion to <br /> table the decision. No seconded was made. The motion failed. <br /> The Mayor presented a request from the Parks department to pay for <br /> damages caused by one of the City mowers throwing a rock. The total damages <br /> where $211.57. Councilmember Smart made a motion to pay the damages and <br /> Councilmember Matthews seconded. All voted for. <br />
