MINUTES OF COUNCIL <br /> JULY 8, 2008 <br /> The Batesville City Council met in regular session on July 8, at 5:30 PM at <br /> the Municipal Building. Mayor Rick Elumbaugh presided over the meeting. <br /> Councilmember Matthews gave the invocation. Upon roll call the following <br /> councilmembers answered present: R.L. Carpenter, Doug Matthews, Matt <br /> McDonald, David Shetron, and Paula Terrell. The City Clerk was also present. <br /> Councilmembers Pectol and Krug and City Attorney Scott Stalker were absent. <br /> Councilmember Shetron moved to approve the minutes from the previous <br /> meeting and Councilmember Carpenter seconded. All voted for. <br /> Councilmember McDonald moved to approve the prepared agenda. <br /> Councilmember Shetron seconded and all voted for. <br /> COMMENTS FROM CITIZENS <br /> None <br /> UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> None <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> A) CONSIDER AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE AIRPORT COMMISSION <br /> Councilmember Matthews introduced an ordinance that would amend <br /> ordinance #733 to allow two of the five commission members to live outside the <br /> city limits of Batesville. The City Clerk read the ordinance in full for the first <br /> reading. The ordinance will be placed on the next agenda for the second <br /> reading. <br />
