Councilmember <br /> Shetron seconded and the roll call count was 8 for and 0 against. <br /> FIRE CHIEF DANNY RUSSELL REGARDING FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> EXPENDITURES <br /> Fire Chief Danny Russell and Assistant Chief Brent Gleghorn addressed the <br /> council requesting the use of revenues the City received from insurance monies and <br /> Gov Deals sales. Recently the fire department has sold $597.49 of used equipment on <br /> Gov Deals and received $10,494.50 in insurance claims from an accident and a storm <br /> that went through Batesville. Asst. Chief Gleghorn asked to use the remaining funds, <br /> after repairs and replacement, for safety cones and vehicle repairs. Councilmember <br /> Matthews moved to grant the request. Councilmember Insell seconded and all voted <br /> for. <br /> ENGINEER'S REPORT <br /> Mr. Johnson addressed the council with his engineer's report. He said the rate <br /> study was near completion as they were now double checking their figures. Jim Ulmer <br /> with McGoodwin, Williams and Yates will present the findings to the council. Mr. <br /> Johnson also gave an update on the construction department and the water treatment <br /> and wastewater treatment plants. <br /> PAID BILLS REPORT <br /> The council was given a copy of the paid bills report for October, 2008. <br /> CEMETERY RESOLUTION <br />
