(D) CONSIDER A TRAILS GRANT RESOLUTION <br /> Councilmember Shetron introduced a resolution to utilize federal moneys <br /> through the Arkansas Recreational Trails Program to develop and improve the <br /> Riverside Park Trail Expansion. The City Clerk read the resolution in full. <br /> Councilmember Smart moved to adopt the resolution and Councilmember <br /> Shetron seconded. All voted for. The resolution was given #2008-04-01-R. <br /> (E) CONSIDER A HAZARD MITIGATION PLAN RESOLUTION <br /> Councilmember Matthews introduced a resolution of intent to participate in <br /> Natural Hazard Mitigation and to work toward becoming a safer community. The <br /> City Clerk read the resolution in full. Councilmember Matthews moved to adopt <br /> the resolution and Councilmember Terrell seconded. All voted for. The <br /> resolution was given #2008-4-2-R. <br /> (F) REVIEW MARCH FINANCIALS <br /> The council was given a copy of the March Financial Statements. A <br /> budget meeting was set for April 29th at 5:15 PM to further review the financials. <br /> COMMENTS FROM THE MAYOR <br /> Mayor Elumbaugh said the City and County were hosting an Employee <br /> Appreciation lunch on Thursday April 24th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. He said <br /> they wanted thank all the city and county workers who worked extremely hard <br /> and went above and beyond the call of duty during our recent 2 flooding <br /> disasters. The lunch will be held at Riverside Park or in case of rain at the Water <br /> construction shop. The Mayor thanked the following business for the contribution <br />
