MINUTES OF COUNCIL <br /> JUNE 12, 2007 <br /> The Batesville City Council met in regular session on June 12, at 5:30 PM <br /> at the Municipal Building. Mayor Rick Elumbaugh presided over the meeting. At <br /> the beginning of the meeting, Mayor Elumbaugh gave a few words regarding the <br /> passing of Councilmember Jerry Pectol. Mr. Pectol passed away June 1. The <br /> Mayor recognized Mr. Pectol's love for his family and for the City of Batesville <br /> and said that he would be missed by himself and his fellow Councilmembers. <br /> Councilmember Terrell gave the invocation. Upon roll call the following <br /> councilmembers answered present: R.L. Carpenter, Fred Krug, Matt McDonald, <br /> David Shetron, Stephen Smart and Paula Terrell. Also present were the City <br /> Clerk and the City Attorney. Councilmember Matthews was absent. <br /> Councilmember Smart moved to approve the minutes from the previous <br /> meeting and Councilmember Carpenter seconded.
