The Mayor welcomed the <br /> new commissioners and thanked them for serving the City in their capacity. <br /> B) JEFF WAGSTER — SEWER HOOP-UP IN SPRING VALLEY <br /> Mr. Jerry Jeffery with the Batesville Water Utilities addressed the council <br /> on behalf of Mr. Jeff Wagster to ask for the approval for a sewer hook-up in <br /> Spring Valley on Pearl Lane. The City has an easement across their property for <br /> the purposes of constructing and maintaining a sewer line. Councilmember <br /> Terrell moved to grant the connection and Councilmember Shetron seconded. <br /> All voted for. <br /> C) EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> Councilmember Smart moved to go into executive session and <br /> Councilmember Carpenter seconded. All voted for. <br /> Upon returning from executive session, Councilmember Terrell moved to <br /> re-appoint Mrs. Nina Womack to the Planning Commission. Councilmember <br /> Smart seconded and all voted for. Mrs. Womack's term will end June 10, 2012. <br /> D) REVIEW PAID BILLS REPORT <br /> The council reviewed the City's paid bills report for the month ending May, <br /> 2007. <br /> E) CEMETERY RESOLUTION <br /> The council considered a Cemetery Resolution for Jeff Webb, Resolution <br /> #2007-142-1 for$200.00. Councilmember Smart moved to accept the resolution <br /> and Councilmember Shetron seconded. All voted for. <br /> COMMENTS FROM THE MAYOR <br />
