Mayor Elumbaugh said that he has been made aware by the Sanitation <br /> Department that commercial tree trimmers are trimming trees and placing them <br /> by the curb for the city to pick up. The Mayor reminded the public that the City's <br /> policy is to pick up limb that have been trimmed by the home owner and that <br /> commercial tree trimmer must dispose of their own limbs. <br /> The Mayor said there is a work shop for earthquake awareness scheduled <br /> at UACCB for June 28 and 29. He encouraged those interested to attend. <br /> LIAISON REPORTS <br /> None <br /> COMMENTS FROM THE COUNCILMEMBERS <br /> Councilmember Krug said he contacted the Department of Finance and <br /> Administration and they assured him that they review all sale tax receipts and if a <br /> local business is not collecting the 1/8 cent city sales tax they will notify them and <br /> instruct them to collect the tax. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business, Councilmember Terrell moved that the <br /> meeting be adjourned.
