MINUTES OF COUNCIL <br /> JULY 10, 2007 <br /> The Batesville City Council met in regular session on July 10, at 5:30 PM at the <br /> Municipal Building. Mayor Rick Elumbaugh presided over the meeting. Councilmember R.L. <br /> Carpenter gave the invocation. Upon roll call the following councilmembers answered <br /> present: R.L. Carpenter, Doug Matthews, Matt McDonald, Trula Pectol, and Stephen Smart. <br /> The City Clerk was also present. Councilmembers Krug, Shetron and Terrell and City <br /> Attorney Stalker were absent. <br /> Councilmember Smart moved to approve the minutes from the previous meeting and <br /> Councilmember Carpenter seconded. All voted for. <br /> Councilmember Carpenter moved to approve the prepared agenda. Councilmember <br /> Matthews seconded and all voted for. <br /> Mayor Elumbaugh introduced and welcomed Ms. Trula Pectol to the council. Ms. <br /> Pectol is fulfilling the unexpired term of her husband, Jerry Pectol who passed away June 1, <br /> 2007. <br /> COMMENTS FROM CITIZENS <br /> None <br /> UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> None <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> A) CONSIDER AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE UTILITIES AFTER HOURS <br /> DISCONNECT FEE SCHEDULE. <br /> Mayor Elumbaugh said he and Mr. Jerry Jeffery with the utilities department decided to <br /> put off the proposed ordinance until the next meeting to make further amendments to the <br /> utilities ordinance. <br />
