B) I & I PRESENTATION
Mr.'s Jim Ulmer, Jeff Denheardt, Jeff Richards, and David Parker all with McGoodwin,
Williams and Yates Engineering firm gave a presentation of their recent flow monitoring and
infiltration/inflow study.
C) REVIEW CITY ANNUAL AUDIT
The council reviewed the 2005 Legislative Audit report. Councilmember McDonald
moved to accept the report and Councilmember Matthews seconded. All voted for.
D) REVIEW PAID BILLS REPORT
The council reviewed the monthly paid bills report for June, 2007.
COMMENTS FROM THE MAYOR
Mayor Elumbaugh said due to shortage in the Cemetery Department and Animal
Control, the City hired a temporary employee to help in both departments. The new
employee, Nick Weathers is the stepson of one of the Cemetery employees who was on sick
leave when Mr. Weathers was hired. The City's handbook does not allow for an employee to
work under the direct supervision of a relative without the council's approval. The Mayor said
Mr. Weathers will be needed throughout the summer. The council approved keeping Mr.
Weathers through the summer to help in both departments.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, Councilmember Smart moved that the meeting be
adjourned. Councilmember Matthews seconded and all voted for.
Rick Elumbaugh, Mayor
Denise M. Johnston, City Clerk
