MINUTES OF COUNCIL <br /> SEPTEMBER 25, 2007 <br /> The Batesville City Council met in regular session on September 25, at <br /> 5:30 PM at the Municipal Building. Mayor Rick Elumbaugh presided over the <br /> meeting. Mayor Elumbaugh announced to the council that one of our <br /> employees, Ms. Barbara Brooks with Animal Control passed away this morning. <br /> He said Ms. Brooks has been with the City for 13 years and asked the council to <br /> remember the Brooks family during this time. Councilmember Matthews gave <br /> the invocation. Upon roll call the following councilmembers answered present: <br /> Fred Krug, Doug Matthews, Matt McDonald, Trula Pectol, David Shetron, <br /> Stephen Smart and Paula Terrell. The City Clerk was also present. <br /> Councilmember R.L. Carpenter and the City Attorney Scott Stalker were absent. <br /> Councilmember McDonald moved to approve the minutes from the <br /> previous meeting and Councilmember Terrell seconded. All voted for. <br /> Councilmember Shetron moved to approve the prepared agenda. <br /> Councilmember Matthews seconded and all voted for. <br /> COMMENTS FROM CITIZENS <br /> None <br /> UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> None <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> A) DOUGLAS TATE REGARDING FLOODING PROBLEMS <br /> Mr. Douglas Tate along with Mr. Tim Johnson addressed the council <br /> regarding flooding in their neighborhood in the Goff Addition.
