MINUTES OF COUNCIL <br /> FEBRUARY 13, 2007 <br /> The Batesville City Council met in regular session on February 13, at 5:30 <br /> PM at the Municipal Building. Mayor Rick Elumbaugh presided over the meeting. <br /> Councilmember Matthews gave the invocation. Upon roll call the following <br /> councilmembers answered present: R.L. Carpenter, Fred Krug, Doug Matthews, <br /> Matt McDonald, David Shetron, Stephen Smart and Paula Terrell. Also present <br /> were the City Clerk and the City Attorney. Councilmember Pectol was absent. <br /> Councilmember Smart moved to approve the minutes from the previous <br /> meeting and Councilmember Shetron seconded. All voted for. <br /> Councilmember Shetron moved to approve the prepared agenda. <br /> Councilmember Matthews seconded and all voted for. <br /> COMMENTS FROM CITIZENS <br /> None <br /> UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> None <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> A) RECOGNITION OF LYON COLLEGE BASEBALL TEAM <br /> Mayor Elumbaugh introduced Coach Kirk Kelley with the Lyon <br /> College Baseball team who then introduced his assistant coaches Robbie <br /> Holmes and Tony Roepke. Mayor Elumbaugh congratulated the coaches and <br /> players for starting out their season with 7 wins and no losses. Each baseball <br /> player then introduced themselves and stated the city and state they were from <br /> and what position they played on the team. <br />
