B) REPORT FROM MYRA WOOD WITH VITAL LINK <br /> Ms. Myra Wood, Executive Director with Vital Link addressed the <br /> council with an annual update for Batesville and Independence County regarding <br /> the Vital Link ambulance service. Ms. Wood gave a through report and reminded <br /> the council that Vital Link has an exclusive franchise that is up for renewal in <br /> September, 2007. She said she would be back before the council late summer <br /> to request a renewal of the franchise. <br /> C) PAID BILLS REPORT <br /> The council was given a copy of the paid bills report for January 31, <br /> 2007. <br /> CEMETERY RESOLUTION <br /> The council considered a cemetery resolution for Carl Hill, #1-321-07 for <br /> $400.00. Councilmember Terrell moved to approve the cemetery resolution and <br /> Councilmember Smart seconded. All voted for. <br /> COMMENTS FROM THE MAYOR <br /> Mayor Elumbaugh said he and the Fire Chief Danny Russell would be <br /> signing the contract for the new Ariel Fire Truck after the meeting. <br /> Congressman Marion Berry will be in Batesville Monday, February 19 from <br /> 11:00 AM — 1:00 PM at City Hall. The Mayor said Mr. Berry would meet with the <br /> public from 11:00 to 12:00 and then a round table discussion with elected officials <br /> from 12:00 to 1:00. <br /> Mayor Elumbaugh reminded the council that Channel 4 would be <br /> broadcasting their morning show this Friday at Josie's from 5:00 to 7:00 AM. <br />
