Assistant Street Supervisor Johnny Coles addressed the council to tell them that he <br /> had a demo Trac Hoe out in the parking lot if they would like to look at it after the meeting. <br /> COMMENTS FROM COUNCIL MEMBERS <br /> Councilmember Terrell said the "China Committee" would be meeting mid January <br /> with Michele Buckner to work on more details of the upcoming visit of our Sister City <br /> dignitaries. <br /> COMMENTS FROM CITY ATTORNEY <br /> None <br /> COMMENTS FROM MAYOR <br /> Mayor Elumbaugh asked the council to set at least two dates for budget meetings. <br /> The council chose January 16t" and if needed January 23rd and 25t" <br /> The Mayor said he was looking at an option for a 30 to 50 foot bucket truck and is <br /> talking to the County Judge about the possibility of going in with the county to purchase a <br /> truck. <br /> Mayor Elumbaugh asked the Traffic Committee to include the discussion of <br /> returning Main and College back to two way streets to their agenda. He suggested that <br /> they get input from citizens and business owners that live or have business on Main and <br /> College and also ask for guidance from the Highway Department. <br /> There being no further business, Councilmember Krug moved that the meeting be <br /> adjourned.
