MINUTES OF COUNCIL <br /> MAY 10, 2005 <br /> The Batesville City Council met in regular session on May 10, at 5:30 PM at the <br /> Municipal Building. Mayor Joe Biard presided over the meeting. Councilmember Pectol <br /> gave the invocation. Upon roll call the following councilmembers answered present: <br /> R.L. Carpenter, John Cooke, Fred Krug, Doug Matthews, Dana Mynatt, Jerry Pectol and <br /> Paula Terrell. Councilmember Mitchum was absent. Also present were the City Clerk <br /> Denise Johnston and the City Attorney Scott Stalker. <br /> Councilmember Pectol moved to approve the minutes from the previous meeting <br /> and Councilmember Carpenter seconded. All voted for. <br /> Councilmember Pectol moved to approve the prepared agenda as amended. <br /> Councilmember Matthews seconded and all voted for. <br /> CONSIDER A FOUR-WAY STOP AT 21st AND NEELEY STREETS <br /> Mayor Biard said citizens asked the city to place a 4-way stop at the intersection <br /> of 21st and Neeley Streets. Mr. McClure had a picture of the intersection for the council. <br /> The council commented that there was already a 4-way stop and 20th &Neeley and 22nd <br /> &Neeley and didn't feel the need for an additional stop signs. <br /> PROPOSED ORDINANCE BY VITAL LINK TO AMEND FRANCHISE TO <br /> ALLOW BASIC AMBULANCE FOR NON-EMERGENCY CASES AND <br /> PRESENTATION BY VITAL LINK ON THEIR SERVICE <br /> Ms. Myra Wood addressed the council with a brief presentation for Vital Link. <br /> Vital Link is a private, not for profit, public benefit ambulance service. It has been <br /> serving this community for 21 �/z years. Ms. Wood gave several statistics regarding Vital <br /> Link. <br />
