Ms. Myra Wood then addressed the council regarding an ordinance that would <br /> amend ordinance 492-5-2 to comply with requirements of the Arkansas Department of <br /> Health. The ordinance would allow for basic life support ambulance service to transport <br /> patients with non-life threatening conditions. This additional service will save both Vital <br /> Link and the patients from additional costs related to full service ambulance transport. <br /> Councilmember Carpenter introduced the ordinance and the Mayor read it in full. <br /> Councilmember Carpenter moved to suspend the rules for the second and third readings <br /> and Councilmember Matthews seconded. The roll call count was 7 for and 0 against. <br /> Councilmember Carpenter moved to adopt the ordinance and Councilmember Terrell <br /> seconded. The roll call count was 7 for and 0 against. The ordinance was given 42005- <br /> 5-1. Councilmember Pectol moved to adopt the emergency clause and Councilmember <br /> Krug seconded. All voted for. <br /> PROPOSAL TO ACCEPT MOUNTAIN RIDGE PLAT IN EAGLE MOUNTAIN <br /> Mr. Steve Bell addressed the council regarding the proposed ordinance that would <br /> accept the Subdivision Plat of Mountain Ridge. The plat was review and accepted by the <br /> Batesville Planning Commission on May 2, 2005. Councilmember Pectol introduced the <br /> ordinance and Mayor Biard read the ordinance in full and Councilmember Cooke moved <br /> to suspend the rules for the second and third readings. Councilmember Krug seconded <br /> and the roll call count was 7 for and 0 against. Councilmember Terrell moved to adopt <br /> the ordinance and Councilmember Matthews seconded.
