REPORT FROM CODE ENFORCEMENT <br /> Code Enforcement Officer Chad McClure showed the council pictures of two locations in <br /> the City that were in need of repair. The first location was 2060 College Street. Councilmember <br /> Watkins moved to start condemnation proceedings on the property and Councilmember Mitchum <br /> seconded. All voted for. <br /> The second property was located on 1458 Byers Street. Councilmember Watkins moved <br /> to start condemnation proceedings. Councilmember Carpenter seconded and all voted for. <br /> RESOLUTION FOR INVESTMENT OF CEMETERY FUNDS <br /> Mayor Biard read a resolution that would give the mayor and city clerk authority to choose <br /> an investment representative for Oakland Cemetery funds and stocks. Councilmember Gaither <br /> moved to approve the resolution and Councilmember Pectol seconded. All voted for. The <br /> resolution was given#2004-2-1-R. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> The council was given a copy of the financial statement for December 31, 2003. <br /> There being no further business, Councilmember Gaither moved that the meeting be <br /> adjourned.
