Councilmember Gaither introduced an ordinance that would rezone property <br /> located on the corner of 14th and Neeley Streets from R-2 to C-1. Powell and Brodie own <br /> the property. Mayor Biard read the ordinance in full for the first reading. <br /> Councilmember Cargill moved to suspend the rules and wave the second and third <br /> readings. Councilmember Gaither seconded and the roll call count was 8 for and 0 <br /> against. Councilmember Cargill moved to adopt the ordinance and Councilmember <br /> Carpenter seconded and the roll call count was 8 for and 0 against. The ordinance was <br /> given 42004-3-4. <br /> CEMETERY RESOLUTION <br /> The council considered cemetery resolution 42004-69-1 for $400.00 for Inoice <br /> Lee Pierce, Mae Lee Wilson and Thurman Lee. Councilmember Cargill moved to adopt <br /> the resolution and Councilmember Mitchum seconded. All voted for. <br /> PAID BILLS REPORT <br /> The council was given a copy of the paid bills report for February, 2004. <br /> There being no further business, Councilmember Gaither moved that the meeting <br /> be adjourned.
