CONSIDER AN ORDINANCE TO RE-ZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY NEAR <br /> EAGLE MTN. BOULEVARD TO STONE FLAG ROAD FROM R-1 TO C-1. <br /> Councilmember Terrell introduced an ordinance that would re-zone property <br /> belonging to Bobby and Patsy Barr from R-1 to C-1. The property runs along Harrison <br /> Street and part of Stone Flag Road. The Mayor read the ordinance and Councilmember <br /> Watkins moved to suspend the rules for the second and third readings. Councilmember <br /> Carpenter seconded and the roll call count was 6 for and 0 against. Councilmember <br /> Watkins moved to adopt the ordinance and Councilmember Carpenter seconded. The roll <br /> call count was 6 for and 0 against. The ordinance was given 4 2004-1-1. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING ON CONDEMNATION OF PROPERTY AT CHARLES AND <br /> BAYOU <br /> Mayor Biard opened the floor at 5:45 for a public hearing on the condemnation of <br /> a house located at the corner of Charles and Bayou Streets. Mr. Chris Sensabaugh, owner <br /> of the property addressed the council. Mr. Sensabaugh said at the time Mr. McClure <br /> contacted him about cleaning up the property he thought he had it sold so he told Mr. <br /> McClure that he was not going to clean it up. In the mean time, the property did not sell <br /> and he said he did mow the property about 3 times. The Mayor closed the public hearing <br /> at 5:50. The council asked Mr. Sensabaugh if he was willing to clean up the property. <br /> Mr. Sensabaugh said he was but has never been told what needed to be done. The <br /> council said there was an old refrigerator in the yard that need to be hauled off <br /> immediately. He said he would have it removed by the end of the week. The council <br /> recommended that Mr. McClure go with Mr. Sensabaugh to the property and show him <br /> exactly what needs to be repaired on the house. All agreed. <br />
