The total came to $52,385. The Federal Government will reimburse 75% for a total of <br /> $39,288 and the State will reimburse 12.5% for a total of$6,548. The City will absorb <br /> the other 12.5%. The Mayor said the city would be reimbursed 100% for the damages to <br /> a traffic light controller at 4th and Main Streets totaling $1,992. <br /> The Mayor said that the resource officer at Eagle Mountain Elementary School <br /> asked the council to consider a no parking sign on the north side of the street in front of <br /> the school to keep the kids from crossing the street during high traffic hours. The council <br /> discussed the request and ask the Mayor to have the schools make a proposal for all the <br /> schools in the district in regards for traffic signs. <br /> FIXED ASSETS DISPOSALS <br /> The council were given notification of disposal request from sanitation, streets <br /> and parks to junk vehicles. Also, 3 vehicles from the fire department will be placed out <br /> for bids to sell. <br /> PAID BILLS REPORT <br /> The council was given a copy of the paid bills report for January, 2003. <br /> There being no further business, Councilmember Mitchum moved that the <br /> meeting be adjourned.
