3. Review plans and comment on locations and type of warning <br /> device to be used. <br /> 4. Agrees to maintain all signs installed by this project with <br /> replacements to be of comparable quality of material and <br /> workmanship as the original program installation. <br /> 5. Hereby attest that the employment policies and practices with <br /> regard to its employees , any part of whose compensation is <br /> reimbursed from Federal funds, will be. without regard to <br /> race, color, religion, sex or national origin. <br /> THE OFFICE OF THE COORDINATOR OF PUBLIC SAFETY WILL: <br /> 1. Be responsible for the necessary submissions to the Federal <br /> Highway Administration. <br /> 2. Provide Traffic Engineering assistance to the City upon <br /> request for implementation of proposed and future projects <br /> through Section 405, Title 23, U. S. Code. <br /> 3. Develop the necessary plans , specifications and award con- <br /> tracts and supervise construction of all projects accomplished <br /> as a result of this agreement. <br /> 4. Be responsible for insuring that Appendix A of Title VI of the <br /> 1964 Civil Rights Act is physically incorporated within each <br /> contract for projects constructed under this program. <br /> IT IS FURTHER AGREED that should the City fail to fulfill its re- <br /> sponsibilities and assigned duties as related in this agreement, such failure <br /> will disqualify the City from the future Federal-aid participation on projects <br /> for which the City has maintenance responsibilities . <br /> IT IS UNDERSTOOD that the implementation of this agreement is subject <br /> to the availability of Federal-aid funds. <br />
