MINUTES OF COUNCIL <br /> MARCH 24, 1998 <br /> The Batesville City Council met for its regular meeting on March 24, at 5:30 P.M. <br /> at the Municipal Building. Mayor Joe Biard presided over the meeting. Councilmember <br /> Insell gave the invocation. Upon roll call, all the council answered present except <br /> Councilmember Bone. Also present were the City Clerk and the City Attorney. <br /> Councilmember Cargill moved to approve the minutes from the last meeting and <br /> Councilmember Gaither seconded. All voted for. <br /> Councilmember Ford moved to approve the prepared agenda and <br /> Councilmember Insell seconded. All voted for. <br /> RECOGNITION OF KATHLEEN BARNS, FARMERS MARKET COMMITTEE <br /> Mayor Baird recognized Ms. Kathleen Barns for serving on the Farmers Market <br /> Committee from 1996 through 1998. The Mayor presented Ms. Barns with a plaque <br /> and City T-shirt. <br /> KAY SOUTHERLAND — REGARDING PROPERTY AT #5 ALTA VISTA DRIVE <br /> Ms. Kay Southerland and Mr. James Ed Bechdoldt addressed the council <br /> regarding the parking of vehicles at the property located at#5 Alta Vista Drive. Ms. <br /> Southerland said she was going to ask the planning commission to re-zone a portion of <br /> land behind her home where she can make a road and park the vehicles. Mayor Biard <br /> said he did not think the planning commission would grant the re-zoning and instructed <br /> Ms. Southerland to have all the vehicles removed from the property by Friday, March <br /> 27. Ms. Southerland and Mr. Bechdoldt said they would have the vehicles removed. <br /> CONSIDER AN ORDINANCE REGARDING BUILDING CODE INSPECTIONS — <br /> THIRD READING <br />
