Councilmember Bone made the motion to increase to allowable to $15.00 and <br /> Councilmember Cargill seconded. All voted for. <br /> CEMETERY RESOLUTION <br /> The council considered a cemetery resolution for Jerry Barris, Certificate <br /> #98-209-1 for $100.00. Councilmember Cargill moved to accept the resolutions <br /> and Councilmember Insell seconded. All voted for. <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> Councilmember Insell said he wanted to express his disappointment in the <br /> Arkansas Beverage Control Broad for issuing a liquor license to the VFW. Mr. <br /> Insell said the application was first denied but then approved after an appeal. He <br /> said several Councilmembers wrote the ABC Board in opposition as well as <br /> several local churches. Mr. Insell said one of his main concerns was that the <br /> VFW is located on Chaney Drive which is the main route all the youth "cruse" to <br /> go down to Riverside Park. <br /> There being no further business, Councilmember Mitchum moved that the <br /> meeting be adjourned.
