The council looked at pictures of cars parked on Case Street between 17th <br /> and 18th Streets. Two residents on Case Street said when the cars are parked <br /> on the street two vehicles can not pass safely. Mayor Baird ask Chad McClure to <br /> talk to the residents on Case who are parking on the street and instruct them to <br /> park their personal autos in their driveways. <br /> DISCUSSION WITH PLANNING COMMISSION CONCERNING UPDATING <br /> THE CITY ZONE CODES <br /> Planning commissioners Jerry Buie and Damon Dortch addressed the <br /> council to discuss the direction to go in updating the city zone codes. Jan Smith <br /> with White River Planning and Development also was in attendance. Ms. Smith <br /> said a thorough update of the zone code would take about 1 year. The Mayor <br /> asked Ms. Smith to look at other codes adopted by cities similar to Batesville and <br /> Mr. Buie to gather information from the other commissioners and report back to <br /> the council. <br /> CONDEMNATION PROCEEDINGS <br /> Code Enforcement Officer Chad McClure gave the council an update on <br /> the condemnation proceeding on two properties in Batesville. The property <br /> located at 528 Wycough will be ready for removal and clean up on August 11th <br /> The property at 450 Lilly has been sold and should be cleaned up in 7 to 10 <br /> days. <br /> INCREASE MEAL REIMBURSEMENTS <br /> Mayor Biard asked the council to increase the reimbursement limit for <br /> meals to $15.00 per meal per person. The current allowable is $10.00. <br />
