The <br /> Mayor went over several items for the council's information. The Mayor asked <br /> the council to look over the budget and be prepared to adopt the 1999 budget <br /> ordinance at the next meeting. <br /> MAYOR'S ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> The City Clerk said the city advertised for bids for the 1998 audit. The city <br /> received 3 bids and the Clerk and Mayor suggest the city accept the low bid from <br /> Hughes, Welch, and Milligan. Councilmember Bone moved to accept the low bid <br /> and Councilmember Gaither seconded.
