The motion carried. <br /> CONSIDER A RESOLUTION TO ENTER INTO A RENTAL AGREEMENT TO <br /> PURCHASE A DUMPSTER TRUCK <br /> Mayor Biard read a resolution that would allow the City to enter into a <br /> rental agreement to purchase a Dumpster truck on a lease to purchase plan. <br /> Councilmember Cargill moved to adopt the resolution and Councilmember <br /> Gaither seconded. All voted for. The resolution was given #99-2-1. <br /> MAYOR'S ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> Mayor Biard said that Riverside sustained approximately $2,000 worth of <br /> damage last Saturday night. Someone drove over several trees and broke the <br /> globes on the new decorative light posts. The council asked the Mayor to invite <br /> the Sheriff to the next meeting to discuss the vandalism problems at the parks. <br /> PARKS COMMISSION APPOINTMENT <br /> Mayor Biard asked the council to consider the re-appointment of Cindy Wade to <br /> the Parks Commission. Councilmember Insell moved to re-appoint Ms. Wade <br /> and Councilmember Cargill seconded. All voted for.
