He <br /> said they also complained about speeding in the area specifically on Mark Lane and Dogwood. <br /> Mr. Carpenter said the citizens said they would help by using videotape of the speeding cars. <br /> Mayor Biard said citizen involvement would be a great help. He also recommended that each <br /> Councilmember write a letter to the Sheriff and ask for better patrolling in the City limits of <br /> Batesville. <br /> Councilmember Mitchum said he has received calls regarding "on street parking". Mr. <br /> Mitchum said the problem stems from older homes that were built for only one automobile. <br /> Most families today have more than one automobile. Mr. Mitchum said he did not know how to <br /> solve the problem and asked that citizens drive careful where cars are parked along the side of <br /> the streets. <br /> There being no further business, Councilmember Mitchum moved that the meeting be <br /> adjourned.
