MAYOR'S ANNOUNCEMENTS — PART I <br /> The council was given a copy of the first draft agreement with the City of <br /> Batesville and Danny Dozier for the lease of the lockkeepers house at Riverside <br /> Park. Mr. Dozier and his attorney Bob Stroud addressed several areas of the <br /> lease. Mr. Stroud said he would make the recommended corrections and <br /> present the final draft of the lease to the Mayor. Councilmember Carpenter <br /> moved that the Mayor sign the lease after the recommended changes have been <br /> made. Councilmember Cargill seconded and all voted for. <br /> CONSIDER AN ORDINANCE TO RE-ZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM C-2 <br /> COMMERCIAL TO C-3 COMMERCIAL — CARL BIGGERS <br /> Mayor Biard read an ordinance that would re-zone certain property <br /> presently owned by Carl Biggers from C-2 commercial to C-3 commercial. The <br /> property is located on Highway 69. The council discussed the fact that when the <br /> Batesville Guard paper printed the agenda for tonight's meeting, the ordinance to <br /> re-zone the property was not mentioned. Mr. Pectol and Mr. Gaither said there <br /> was opposition at the planning commission meeting when the neighbors thought <br /> that North Arkansas Human Services was having the property re-zoned. <br /> Councilmember Mitchum moved to table the ordinance. Councilmember Cargill <br /> seconded and all voted for. <br /> CONSIDER AN ORDINANCE TO RE-ZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM R-2 <br /> TO C-2 — BILL WOLFORD <br /> Mayor Biard read an ordinance that would re-zone certain property <br /> presently owned by Bill Wolford from R-2 residential to C-2 commercial.
