Councilmember Insell <br /> seconded and all voted for. <br /> MAYOR'S ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> Mayor Biard told the council he received approval today for T21 funds to make a <br /> walking — bike paths along the White River. The paths would start at Riverside Park <br /> and continue under the bridge up behind Con-Agra. The grant was for $280,320.00 <br /> with a City match of$73,584.00. The Mayor said these funds are not in this year's <br /> budget and he will wait until the March 28th sales tax election to ask the council for <br /> funding. <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> Councilmember Insell moved to go into executive session. Councilmember <br /> Pectol seconded and all voted for. <br /> Upon returning from executive session, Councilmember Bone moved to appoint <br /> Crystal Bradley to the Parks and Recreation Commission. Councilmember Cargill <br /> seconded and all voted for. Ms. Bradley will replace Mr. Bubba Hargett who moved <br /> from the area. The term will expire May 10, 2000. <br /> CEMETERY RESOLUTION <br /> The council considered a cemetery resolution for W.B. and Marcella Mathis, <br /> Resolution #2000-53-1 for $200.00.
