UPDATE ON RECENT ISSUES BY CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER CHAD <br /> McCLURE <br /> Mr. McClure showed the council several pictures of unsightly properties <br /> that the council has recently discussed. The properties include the poke bayou <br /> clean-up, 2035 Central Avenue, 548 Broad Street, Union Pacific Railroad <br /> Property, 2205 Duffer Lane, 219 Quail Valley Drive, 1803 Neeley, 635 14t", 1331 <br /> E. College, 828 Vine Street, old Dairy Queen building on Harrison Street, 5t" & <br /> Vine, 85 Tiffany Drive. Councilmember Insell moved to start condemnation <br /> proceeding on the property at 1331 E. College. Councilmember Gaither <br /> seconded and all voted for. <br /> Councilmember Insell moved to set a public hearing for condemnation of the <br /> Union Pacific Property on Lawrence Street. Councilmember Pectol seconded <br /> and all voted for. The public hearing is set for July 11. Councilmember Insell <br /> moved to notify the owners of the property located at 85 Tiffany Drive that they <br /> have 20 days to clean up their property. If the owners do not clean up the <br /> property, the city will send a crew to do the clean up and bill the property owner. <br /> Councilmember Carpenter seconded and all voted for. <br /> DISCUSSION ON INTERLOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT AGREEMENT <br /> Councilmember Insell gave the council a copy of several changes that he <br /> would recommend to be made to the Interlocal Agreement. Mr. Insell went over <br /> his changes and asked that the council take the agreement home, study it and <br /> make any additional recommendations. Mr. Insell asked to be placed on the next <br /> agenda to discuss the Interlocal Agreement. <br />
