CEMETERY RESOLUTION <br /> The council considered a cemetery resolution for Vernon and Velma <br /> Gould, certificate #2000-144-1 for$600.00. The resolution being in order, <br /> Councilmember Insell moved to adopt the resolution and Councilmember Gaither <br /> seconded. All voted for. <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> Councilmember Carpenter again questioned the Mayor about the <br /> Courtesy Car. Mr. Carpenter said he spoke to Truman Baker Ford and they said <br /> they gave the car to the Mayor for a City Courtesy Car. Mayor Biard said his <br /> arrangement with Truman Baker was for him and did not involve the City. Mr. <br /> Carpenter asked the Mayor if he personally paid for the insurance on the <br /> Courtesy Car or if the City paid for the insurance. The Mayor said he personally <br /> paid for the insurance. Mr. Carpenter also asked if the city had a written policy <br /> regarding who can drive city cars home. The Mayor said the city did not have <br /> any written policy. Mr. Carpenter recommended that the City have such a policy. <br /> Mr. Carpenter asked about the Mayor's Discretionary Fund and Travel and Public <br /> Relations Fund. He said he would like an accounting of these funds and asked if <br /> the city had a policy regarding travel reimbursement. The clerk said there was <br /> no policy but she did have a form that employees filled out when asking for travel <br /> reimbursement. Mr. Carpenter said he thought the city should have a travel <br /> reimbursement policy as well as a more detailed reimbursement form. <br /> Councilmember Insell moved to have the city clerk create a travel reimbursement <br />
