The City Clerk informed the employees that those who were not considered emergency <br /> personnel as outlined by the Internal Revenue Service would have a car allowance added to their <br /> W-2 under other compensation. <br /> RESOLUTION CONCERNING EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK <br /> Mayor Biard read a resolution that would adopt an Employee Handbook for the City. <br /> Councilmember Pectol moved to adopt the handbook and Councilmember Cargill seconded. All <br /> voted for except Councilmember Bone. The resolution was given 42001-4-1. <br /> DISCUSSION OF DRUG FREE WORKPLACE <br /> The council discussed the adoption of a drug free workplace policy. City Safety Director <br /> Sharon Taylor answered questions from the council. After a discussion, the council asked the <br /> clerk to provide figures for the cost of the program at the next meeting. <br /> CEMETERY RESOLUTION <br /> The council considered a cemetery resolution for Alan Moore, Cert. 4 2001-100-1 for <br /> 41,300.00. The resolution being in order, Councilmember Mitchum moved to accept the <br /> resolution. Councilmember Gaither seconded and all voted for. <br /> There being no further business, Councilmember Mitchum moved that the meeting be <br /> adjourned.
