MINUTES OF COUNCIL <br /> SEPTEMBER 13, 2016 <br /> The Batesville City Council met in regular session on September 13, at 5:30 pm at the <br /> Municipal Building. Mayor Rick Elumbaugh presided over the meeting. Nick Baxter, <br /> Utility Billing Supervisor, gave the invocation. Upon roll call, the following <br /> Councilmembers answered present; Chris Beller, Tommy Bryant, Sonya Crafton, <br /> Margaret Henley, Paige Hubbard, Doug Matthews, Chris Poole and David Shetron. <br /> Also present were the City Attorney Tim Meitzen and Administrative Assistant Jennifer <br /> Corter. City Clerk Denise Johnston was absent. <br /> Councilmember Bryant moved to approve the minutes from the previous <br /> meeting. Councilmember Shetron seconded and all voted for. <br /> Councilmember Bryant moved to approve the prepared agenda. Councilmember <br /> Beller seconded and all voted for. <br /> CITIZENS COMMENTS <br /> None <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> None <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> A) RECOGNIZE THE BATESVILLE BANDITS, 8 YEAR OLD NORTH <br /> ARKANSAS CAL RIPKEN STATE TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS <br /> Mayor Elumbaugh read a proclamation, proclaiming September 13th as 8 Year <br /> Old Cal Ripken All Star Baseball Appreciation Day. He recognized individual <br /> players and coaches, and presented each of them with a copy of the <br />
