DISPOSAL OF FIXED ASSETS <br /> The council was given a copy of the disposal request from the Metro department <br /> to dispose of 6 General Electric Portable Radios. <br /> MAYOR'S ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> Mayor Biard told the council that the bids were opened for the river walk project. <br /> The low bid was from Cando, Inc. out of Morrilton, Arkansas. The bid was $351,687.50. <br /> The Mayor said the project should start around the first of May and be completed the first <br /> of September. <br /> PRESENTATION TO COUNCILMEMBER DANA BONE <br /> Mayor Biard presented Councilmember Dana Bone with a plaque for her service <br /> on the City Council. The plaque recognized her years of service from January 1, 1993 to <br /> March 12, 2002. Ms. Bone said a few words of thanks to the city department heads, city <br /> employees and also mentioned several accomplishments that have taken place while she <br /> served on the council. Ms. Bone is moving out of state. <br /> Mayor Biard informed the council that after this meeting, a vacancy will have <br /> occurred. The Mayor said that he will recommend Mr. Pat Lea to fill Ms. Bone's <br /> position at the next meeting. <br /> PAID BILLS REPORT <br /> The council was given a copy of the paid bills report for February, 2002. <br /> There being no further business, Councilmember Mitchum moved that the <br /> meeting be adjourned.
