Councilmember Cargill moved to suspend all three readings <br /> and Councilmember Carpenter seconded and the roll call count was 8 for and 0 against. <br /> Councilmember Watkins moved to adopt the ordinance and Councilmember Carpenter seconded. <br /> The roll call count was 8 for and 0 against. The ordinance was given#2002-11-1. <br /> MAIN STREET BATESVILLE - YEAR-END-REPORT <br /> Mrs. Selina Anderson and Mr. Bob Carius with Main Street Batesville addressed the <br /> council and gave a year-end report. <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> Councilmember Cargill moved to go into executive session and Councilmember Gaither <br /> seconded. All voted for. Upon returning from executive session Councilmember Watkins <br /> moved to appoint Dr. Doug Bernard to replace Dr. Bob Carter on the Airport Commission. <br /> Councilmember Terrell seconded and all voted for. Dr. Bernard's term will be to 11/09/07. <br /> MAYOR'S ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> Mayor Biard said he received a letter from the fire department, Sheriff's department and <br /> several other individuals regarding the adoption of a uniform property numbering system to help <br /> in identifying property primarily for emergency situations. The council said they thought it was <br /> a good idea and asked the Mayor to draft an ordinance. <br /> Mayor Biard said he has been approached by White River Petroleum regarding some <br /> property owned by the City that lies next to their property on River Street. The Mayor asked the <br /> council to go look at the property and be ready to discuss it at the next meeting. The council <br /> asked the Mayor to get appraisals on the property. <br />
