Section 2. That law enforcement is hereby authorized to fine anyone <br /> who violates Section I of this Ordinance with a fine of up to Five Hundred ($500) <br /> dollars and if the act is continuous, not more than Two Hundred and Fifty ($250) <br /> dollars for each day of continuance. <br /> Section 3. That Batesville City Code Enforcement is hereby authorized to <br /> set the standards for temporary use permits to operate equine drawn carriages <br /> or equine drawn vehicles within the city in order to promote the free flow of <br /> traffic, safety, and order within the city with all such permits being subject to <br /> approval by the Chief of Police and the Mayor of the City; <br /> Section 4. EMERGENCY CLAUSE: That because Batesville is currently <br /> displaying its Christmas Lights the need for this act to be enforced is immediate. <br /> Therefore it is further found that an emergency exists and this ordinance being <br /> necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety shall take <br /> effect from and after its passage and approval. <br /> 00')') <br /> PASSED AND APPROVED thiso(a day of December, 2015. <br /> APPROVED: <br /> Honorable Rick Elumbaugh, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Denise M.
