He said they were having the second reading of an <br /> ordinance to finance a $39,000,000. recreation center. Mr. Bryant said most of the <br /> conversation among their council was the City of Batesville and our Community Center. <br /> He said he was honored to attend and advise their city. Mr. Bryant also said the <br /> Batesville Fire Department attended an Autism Awareness Training recently. He said a <br /> trainer from Maryland taught the course for emergency responders. <br /> Councilmember Fredricks said the intersection of St. Louis and Bates Streets, <br /> Arby's parking lot, has a huge Crepe Myrtle that is blocking the view of the northbound <br /> traffic. <br /> Councilmember Matthews said the re-seal of the Airport runway is complete and <br /> they are now applying the markings. <br /> Ms. Helen Musgrave, Councilmember Pete Musgrave's wife, asked the city to <br /> look at the intersection of Carter and Hill Streets. She said a tree has recently been cut <br /> down and it is blocking the intersection view. <br />
