<br />MINUTES OF COUNCIL <br />MARCH 17, 2020 <br /> <br />The Batesville City Council met in regular session on February 18, at 5:30 pm at <br />the Municipal Building. Mayor Rick Elumbaugh presided over the meeting. Utility Billing <br />Supervisor Nick Baxter gave the invocation. Upon roll call, the following <br />Councilmembers answered present; Tommy Bryant, Scott Fredricks, Julie Hinkle, Fred <br />Krug, Doug Matthews, Pete Musgrave and Chris Poole. City Attorney Tim Meitzen and <br />Admin. Assistant Jennifer Corter were also present. Councilmember Paige Hubbard <br />was absent as well as the City Clerk Denise Johnston. <br />Councilmember Bryant moved to approve the minutes from the previous <br />meeting. Councilmember Poole seconded and all voted for. <br />Councilmember Bryant moved to approve the prepared agenda. Councilmember <br />Fredricks seconded and all voted for. <br />CITIZENS COMMENTS <br /> None <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> None <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />A) POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORT <br />Police Chief Alan Cockrill addressed the council for his monthly report. Chief <br />Cockrill said, in light of the COVID 19, the Police Department is closed to walk in <br />traffic. Both 911 and non-emergency calls are still being answered by officers <br />and arrangements are being made for those who have mandatory check-ins. <br /> <br /> <br />
