RESOLUTION # 0� �o�-Ol <br /> A RESOLUTION TO CONTRACT WITH ECOLOGICAL DESIGN GROUP AND <br /> TAGGERT ARCHITECTS FOR THE DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF <br /> CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS FOR RIVERSIDE PARK AND ASSOCIATED <br /> PROJECTS <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Batesville desires to enter into a contract for design and development of <br /> construction documents for Riverside Park and Associated Projects; <br /> WHEREAS,EDG and Taggert Architects were selected through a Statement of Qualifications <br /> process and were found to be the most qualified firms to provide these design services; <br /> WHEREAS, the total amount of the contract will be 7% of the Guaranteed Maximum Price of the <br /> Project,more or less,and will be paid from monies collected from the Half Cent Recreation Sales <br /> Tax; <br /> NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> BATESVILLE,ARKANSAS <br /> SECTION 1: That the City of Batesville,Arkansas will enter into a contract for the Design and <br /> Development of Construction Documents for Riverside Park and Associated Projects with EDG <br /> and Taggert Architects. <br /> SECTION 2: The total amount for the contract will be 7% of the Guaranteed Maximum Price of <br /> the Project,more or less,and will be paid from monies collected from the Half Cent Recreation <br /> Sales Tax. <br /> SECTION 3: The Mayor,Rick Elumbaugh and City Clerk,Denise Johnston are hereby authorized <br /> by the City Council for the City of Batesville to execute all documents necessary to effectuate the <br /> agreement. <br /> PASSED AND APPROVED this day of December,2023. <br /> Rick Elumbaugh, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Denise Johnston, City Verk <br />
