The emergency clause failed for the lack of a motion. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />A) CONSIDER AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE PERPETUAL MAINTENANCE <br />FUND FOR THE BATESVILLE COMMUNITY CENTER AND AQUATICS PARK <br />AND OUTDOOR TENNIS COURTS AT FITZHUGH <br />Councilmember Bryant introduced an ordinance to increase the City’s annual <br />contribution to the Perpetual Maintenance Fund for the Batesville Community <br />Center & Aquatics Park and Outdoor Tennis Courts, located at Fitzhugh Park from <br />$75,000.00 to $100,000.00. Councilmember Bryant explained the reasoning for <br />setting up the maintenance fund and the importance of keeping the parks in good <br />condition.
