The ordinance was given #2023-07-04. <br />B) CONSIDER AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE ADOPTING CERTAIN RULES <br />AND REGULATIONS CONCERNING EXTERNAL NOISE ATTENUATION OF <br />DATA CENTERS AND TO PREVENT NOISE DISTURBANCE IN THE CITY OF <br />BATESVILLE <br />Councilmember Poole introduced an ordinance to regulate and prevent <br />unreasonable noise emanating externally from Data Centers. Councilmember <br />Matthews moved to suspend the rules and read the ordinance by title only. <br />Councilmember Bryant seconded and the electronic roll call count was 7 for and 0 <br />against. Mr. Meitzen read the ordinance by title only. Councilmember Bryant <br />moved to further suspend the rules and waive the second and third readings. <br />Councilmember Matthews seconded and the electronic roll call count was 7 for and <br />0 against.
