Councilmember Bennett seconded and electronic roll call count was 7 <br />for and 0 against. Councilmember Poole moved to adopt the ordinance. <br />Councilmember Bryant seconded and the electronic roll call count was 6 for and <br />1 against. (Matthews). The Ordinance was given #2002-06-01. <br />Mr. Meitzen read the emergency clause. Councilmember Bryant moved to adopt <br />the emergency clause and Councilmember Poole seconded. The electronic roll <br />call was 7 for and 0 against. <br />B) CONSIDER AN ORDINANCE TO ESTABLISH A TEMPORARY <br />ENTERTAINMENT DISTRICT IN RIVERSIDE PARK <br />Councilmember Bryant moved to introduce an ordinance to establish a <br />temporary Entertainment District in Riverside Park. This ordinance will allow, <br />by Mayoral proclamation, certain areas adjacent to 50 Riverbank Road to be <br />included in the outdoor entertainment district. Councilmember Bryant moved <br />to suspend the rules and read the ordinance by title only. Councilmember <br />Bennett seconded and the electronic roll call was 6 for and 1 against, <br />(Matthews). Mr. Meitzen read the ordinance by title only. Councilmember <br />Bryant moved to further suspend the rules and waive the second and third <br />readings. Councilmember Hubbard seconded and the electronic roll call was <br />6 for and 1 against, (Matthews). Councilmember Bryant moved to adopt the <br />ordinance. Councilmember Poole seconded and the electronic roll call count <br />was 6 for and 1 against, (Matthews). The ordinance was given #2002-06-02. <br /> <br />
