MINUTES OF COUNCIL <br /> APRIL 28, 2015 <br /> The Batesville City Council met in regular session on April 28, at 5:30 P.M. in the <br /> Municipal Building. Mayor Rick Elumbaugh called the meeting to order. Councilmember <br /> Margarett Henley gave the invocation. Upon roll call, the following councilmembers <br /> answered present; Tommy Bryant, Sonya Crafton, Margarett Henley, Paige Hubbard, <br /> Doug Matthews, Chris Poole and David Shetron. Also present were the City Attorney <br /> Lindsey Castleberry and City Clerk Denise Johnston. Councilmember Chris Beller was <br /> absent. <br /> Councilmember Bryant moved to approve the minutes from the previous <br /> meeting. Councilmember Henley seconded and all voted for. <br /> Councilmember Bryant moved to approve the prepared agenda and <br /> Councilmember Matthews seconded. All voted for. <br /> CITIZENS COMMENTS <br /> None <br /> UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> A) SECOND READING OF AN ORDINANCE TO REGULATE SMOKING, USE OF <br /> SMOKELESS TOBACCO AND E-CIGARETTES IN PARKS, CEMETERIES AND <br /> ALL OTHER FACILITIES OWNED BY THE CITY OF BATESVILLE <br /> Mayor Elumbaugh asked if there was any discussion regarding the proposed <br /> ordinance regulating the use of tobacco products on City owned properties. <br /> There being none, Councilmember Matthews moved to read the ordinance by <br /> title only for the second reading. Councilmember Bryant seconded and the roll <br /> call count was 7 for and 0 against. Mr. Castleberry read the ordinance by title <br />
