MINUTES OF COUNCIL <br /> JUNE 8, 2015 <br /> The Batesville City Council met in regular session on June 8, at 5:30 P.M. in the Municipal <br /> Building. Mayor Rick Elumbaugh called the meeting to order. Utility Billing Supervisor Nick <br /> Baxter gave the invocation. Upon roll call, the following councilmembers answered present; <br /> Chris Beller, Tommy Bryant, Sonya Crafton, Margarett Henley, Doug Matthews, Chris Poole <br /> and David Shetron. Also present were the City Attorney Lindsey Castleberry and City Clerk <br /> Denise Johnston. Councilmember Paige Hubbard was absent. <br /> Councilmember Bryant moved to approve the minutes from the previous meeting. <br /> Councilmember Henley seconded and all voted for. <br /> Councilmember Bryant moved to approve the prepared agenda and Councilmember <br /> Matthews seconded. All voted for. <br /> CITIZENS COMMENTS <br /> None <br /> UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> None <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> A) REPORT FROM MAIN STREET BATESVILLE, MR. BOB CARIUS <br /> Mr. Bob Carius addressed the council with an update on the Barnett Building. He said <br /> there were over 100 people who took the tour of the building last Thursday and six <br /> events have already been booked for the third floor of the building. Mayor Elumbaugh <br /> told the council that the main Heat and Air Unit for the kitchen area is not working <br /> properly. He said according to a HVAC company, the unit needs to be replaced at a cost <br /> between $15,000.00 and $16,000.00. Councilmember Bryant moved to authorize the <br /> Mayor to replace the HVAC Unit. Councilmember Henley seconded and all voted for. <br />
