B) CONSIDER A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CONSENT ADMINISTRATIVE <br /> ORDER FROM ADEQ <br /> City Engineer Damon Johnson addressed the council to explain the proposed <br /> resolution. Mr. Johnson said the City submitted an update to the milestone schedule <br /> to extend the work completion dates of the corrective actions needed to comply with <br /> addressing the Wastewater Consent Administrative Order issued by ADEQ. He said <br /> the work at the wastewater facility will have to be complete and the new plant up and <br /> running in order to meet the requirements by ADEQ. The proposed resolution <br /> approves the new dates for corrective actions. Councilmember Bryant introduced the <br /> resolution. Mr. Castleberry read the resolution in full. Councilmember Bryant moved <br /> to adopt the resolution and Councilmember Matthews seconded. The roll call count <br /> was 7 for and 0 against. The resolution was given #2015-06-01-R. <br /> C) POLICE CHIEF ALAN COCKRILL UPDATE <br /> Police Chief Alan Cockrill addressed the council with an update on the first week for <br /> the new police department. Chief Cockrill said they had a great first week with a few <br /> minor glitches, which they expected. He said they received 298 calls from dispatch <br /> and logged 24 hours on the new police bikes. The Chief said he has received several <br /> positive calls from the public primarily regarding the visibility of the officers. <br /> MAYOR COMMENTS <br /> The Mayor said the next scheduled meeting will be the Tuesday before the Municipal <br /> League Conference. Since he is the incoming President for the League, he will need to go <br /> down on Tuesday. He asked if the meeting could be changed to Monday the 22nd <br /> Councilmember Matthews so moved and Councilmember Beller seconded. All voted for. <br /> LIAISON REPORT <br />
