City Engineer Damon Johnson addressed the council with his Engineer's <br /> Report. Mr. Johnson gave a brief account for all the construction going on <br /> throughout the City. He then praised all the departments that worked <br /> together to clear the streets from last week's ice storm. Mr. Johnson said <br /> our employees are amazing when it comes to emergency situations. <br /> "They just do it". <br /> D) PAID BILLS REPORT <br /> The council was given a copy of the November, 2013 paid bills report for <br /> review. <br /> MAYOR COMMENTS <br /> Mayor Elumbaugh also commented on the great job that the employees did <br /> during the recent ice storm. All the departments work well together and do whatever it <br /> takes to get the job done. <br /> The Mayor also said it is a team effort to put all the Christmas lights all over our <br /> City. Our lights this year are second to none and he encouraged everyone to tour our <br /> lights and take the horse-drawn carriage ride through Riverside Park. <br /> The Mayor said the bids for the new Community Center/Aquatic Park have been <br /> postponed to January 16t" <br /> Mayor Elumbaugh said at the last meeting there was a discussion of giving our <br /> employee an incentive pay for this year. At the last meeting, the council wanted more <br /> financial information to make the decision. The City Clerk sent the council a financial for <br /> November, 2013. After a discussion, Councilmember Krug moved to give all fulltime <br /> employees a $500.00 incentive pay and permanent part-time $250.00. Councilmember <br /> Hubbard second and the roll call count was 5 for and one (Shetron) against. <br /> LIAISON REPORTS <br /> None <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> None <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business, Councilmember Shetron moved that the <br /> meeting be adjourned.
