MINUTES OF COUNCIL <br /> November 12, 2013 <br /> The Batesville City Council met in regular session on November 12, at 5:30 PM <br /> at the Municipal Building. Mayor Elumbaugh called the meeting to order. Water Utility <br /> Office Manager, Nick Baxter gave the invocation. Upon roll call, the following council <br /> answered present; Tommy Bryant, Margarett Henley, Paige Hubbard, Davy Insell, Fred <br /> Krug, Douglas Matthews, Chris Poole, and David Shetron. Also present were the <br /> Administrative Assistant Jennifer Corter and the City Attorney Lindsey Castleberry. City <br /> Clerk Denise Johnston was absent. <br /> Councilmember Bryant moved to approve the minutes from the previous <br /> meeting. Councilmember Henley seconded and all voted for. <br /> Councilmember Matthews moved to approve the prepared agenda. <br /> Councilmember Bryant seconded and all voted for. <br /> CITIZENS COMMENTS <br /> None <br /> UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> None <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> A) RECOGNIZE THE BATESVILLE PIONEER'S JUNIOR HIGH FOOTBALL TEAM <br /> FOR COMPLETING AN UNDEFEATED SEASON OF 10-0 <br /> Mayor Elumbaugh recognized the Batesville Pioneer Junior High team for their <br /> accomplishment of completing an undefeated season of 10-0 and being 5A East <br /> Conference Champs. Each player present was presented with a proclamation <br /> and the head coach spoke about the season. <br /> B) MR. LARRY JONES WITH AN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT UPDATE <br />
