MINUTES OF COUNCIL <br /> MAY 28, 2013 <br /> The Batesville City Council met in regular session on May 28, at 5:30 PM at the <br /> Municipal Building. Mayor Elumbaugh called the meeting to order. Utility Office <br /> Manager Nick Baxter gave the invocation. Upon roll call, the following council answered <br /> present; Tommy Bryant, Margarett Henley, Davy Insell, Fred Krug, Douglas Matthews, <br /> and David Shetron. Also present were the City Clerk and the City Attorney. <br /> Councilmember Paige Hubbard and Chris Poole were absent. <br /> Councilmember Bryant moved to approve the minutes from the previous <br /> meeting. Councilmember Shetron seconded and all voted for. <br /> Councilmember Matthews moved to approve the prepared agenda. <br /> Councilmember Bryant seconded and all voted for. <br /> CITIZENS COMMENTS <br /> None <br /> UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> None <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> A) RECOGNIZE MR. OTIS HARPER FOR HIS 16 YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE <br /> CITY <br /> Mayor Elumbaugh recognized Mr. Otis Harper for his 16 years of service to the <br /> City of Batesville. Mr. Harper started for the City in July of 1997 in the Parks <br /> Department. In 2011 he was transferred to the Cemetery/Landscape <br /> Department. The Mayor read and presented Mr. Harper with a certificate and <br /> thanked him for his dedication to the City. <br />
