The ordinance was given #2013-05-03. <br /> D) DISCUSS HOUSES ON CHARLES AND BAYOU STREETS THAT WERE <br /> DONATED TO THE CITY BY CITIZENS BANK <br /> Mayor Elumbaugh said he talked with Habitat for Humanity as instructed by the <br /> council to see if they would like the properties located at Charles and Bayou <br /> Streets. He said at first they were interested but decided not to accept the <br /> properties due to their location and high traffic volume. The Mayor asked the <br /> council what they would like to do with the property. After a discussion, the <br /> council decided to put the properties up for bid with stipulation that both houses <br /> had to be removed from the properties. There are liens on the properties of <br /> approximately $2,400.00 that will have to be paid before the City can transfer the <br /> deeds. Councilmember Bryant moved to advertise the properties for sale and <br /> Councilmember Shetron seconded and all voted for. <br /> E) ENGINEER'S REPORT <br /> City Engineer Damon Johnson addressed the council and gave a brief update on <br /> activities throughout the City. <br /> MAYOR COMMENTS <br /> The council was informed of three fixed asset disposals. Two 2011 Dump Trucks <br /> that were traded in for new, 2013 Dump Trucks and Metro Unit#M53 that was <br /> totaled in an accident last month. <br />
