Tebbetts have requested that their property located at lot 5 of block 10 School <br /> Addition be re-zoned from T-1(Traditional Business District) to R-2 (General Family <br /> Residential). Councilmember Shetron made a motion to read the ordinance by title <br /> only. Councilmember Bryant seconded and the roll call count was 8 for and 0 <br /> against. Mr. Castleberry read the ordinance by title only. Councilmember Matthews <br /> made a motion to suspend the rules and waive the second and third reading. <br /> Councilmember Insell seconded. The roll call count was 8 for and 0 against. <br /> Councilmember Matthews made a motion to adopt the ordinance. Councilmember <br /> Bryant seconded and the roll call was 8 for and 0 against. The ordinance was given <br /> #2013-05-01. <br /> E) EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> Councilmember Shetron made a motion to go into executive session. Councilmember <br /> Matthews seconded. Motion passed. Upon returning from executive session, <br /> Councilmember Matthews made a motion to reappoint Ms. Sylvia Crosby to the <br /> Housing Authority Commission. Councilmember Bryant seconded. Motion passed. <br /> F) ENGINEER'S REPORT <br /> City Engineer Damon Johnson gave the council a brief update on projects throughout <br /> the City including Sewer and Water line replacements on Westside, WWTP update, <br /> electrical project at the Water Plant, drainage improvements on Lomond and curb and <br /> guttering at the museum. Mr. Johnson talked about the condition of sidewalks inside <br /> the City and about encouraging citizens to avoid parking or driving on the sidewalks. <br /> G) REVIEW OF APRIL FINANCIALS <br /> The council was given copies of the April, 2013 financials for review. <br /> MAYOR COMMENTS <br />
