MINUTES OF COUNCIL <br /> JUNE 26, 2012 <br /> The Batesville City Council met in regular session on June 26, at 5:30 PM at the <br /> Municipal Building. Mayor Elumbaugh called the meeting to order. Mr. Nick Baxter <br /> gave the invocation. Upon roll call, the following council answered present; Tommy <br /> Bryant, Margarett Henley, Paige Hubbard, Davy Insell, Fred Krug, Douglas Matthews, <br /> Chris Poole, and David Shetron. Also present were the City Clerk Denise Johnston and <br /> the City Attorney Lindsey Castleberry. <br /> Councilmember Insell moved to approve the minutes from the previous meeting. <br /> Councilmember Henley seconded and all voted for. <br /> Councilmember Bryant moved to approve the prepared agenda. Councilmember <br /> Insell seconded and all voted for. <br /> CITIZENS COMMENTS <br /> Mr. Dave Timko, owner of Daylight Donuts, addressed the council regarding the <br /> recent fire at his business. Mr. Timko said he wanted to publicly thank the Batesville <br /> Fire Department for their fast response and professionalism during fire at Daylight <br /> Donuts. Mr. Timko said what could have been a total loss ended with minimal damage <br /> and he was very thankful for our fire department. <br /> UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> None <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> A) HEAR AN UPDATE FROM MS. TAMI MEYER, TOURISM DIRECTOR WITH THE <br /> CHAMBER OF COMMERCE <br />
